Kennardsmith Associates is a new recruitment company that formed in 2009. They specialise in high end recruitment services (Search & Selection) within Process Improvement (Six Sigma) and had already engaged a company to design a website for them. Unfortunately, after many months of waiting, the website had not been designed and the lack of a functioning website was becoming a major business issue. At this stage, Kennardsmith Associates Ltd engaged ClystNet to undertake the work.
Our first meeting was to establish the purpose of the site. We established that the site would be mainly a reference site, and would not need to rank highly on Google. It also became clear that Kennardsmith Associates wanted complete control over the graphics used on the site. As they had no desire to update the site on a regular basis, and due to the time issues (they had been let down by the last developer) - time to go live was highly important. Our client was also very keen that the site should have some Flash animation - so we buillt a flash banner showing customers for the main page.
Due to the time constraints, we designed a static site which met all of Kennardsmith Associates design requirements. We provided hosting and support (as well as emails) and had the entire site delivered and live within one week of receiving the order.
