Clystnet Ltd was founded by a group of technical people who had also spent several years working in 'the real world' and facing 'real' problems.

We realised that most IT businesses didn't understand real business needs. In particular, we had poor experience with CRM systems and web sites. We were also fed up with being charged a fortune for technology that didn't work - and then realising that we were tied in.

We looked at how we could apply our knowledge to novel solutions to help others. Rapidly focusing on Open Source web solutions, we soon developed a winning solution for clients. Open Source solutions are built by a community of committed developers, therefore saving you licensing costs (it's free!) and removing the risk of being tied in to propriety products. The 'source code' in Open Source software - that is the language they are written in - is 'open' - and therefore you are freely able to change it.
